City Health Commissioner Manning states the ban in Omaha will lift at the same time, as it is no longer needed. Manning estimates more than 5,000 affected by the epidemic, and reports 286 deaths to date, including Fort Omaha deaths. He said “I believe Omaha came through the situation in much better shape than most cities.
